Best of India & Nepal Tour takes you to exciting and amazing places of India like Delhi, Varanasi, Orchha, Agra, Jaipur, Khajuraho and Kathmandu in Nepal. Explore the various historical places; get to know about architecture and royal life of Nepal. Each city has its own specialty like legacies of Mughal in Agra, Elephant ride in Jaipur, traditional with modernization city Delhi, holy city Varanasi and many other cities.

Day 1: Delhi arrival
As soon as you arrive at Delhi airport you will be welcomed by our representative. He will escort to your pre-booked hotel. On arrival, check into the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 2: Delhi Tour
Post breakfast visit Red Fort which was seat of Mughal Emperor and was residence of Mughals built using red sand stones. Next visit Qutub Minar a five storied building where the first three stories are built using sand stones and other two using marbles, Lotus Temple also known as symbol of Peace where you have to stay in peace, Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple and India Gate made to memorialize martyrs of war and Rajghat made in memory of Father of Nation – Mahatma Gandhi. In the evening explore the streets of Chandni Chowk where you can buy any stuff. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.  

Day 3: Delhi – Kathmandu (by air)
Post refreshing breakfast you will be transferred to Kathmandu by air, which is next destination of tour. On arrival, check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Stay overnight.

Day 4: Kathmandu
Post breakfast visit Boudhanath Stupa surrounded by prayer wheels and comprises statue of Dhyani Buddhas representing five elements of earth i.e. Water, Earth, Air, Fire and sky. Next visit Durbar Square which was residence of royal family of Nepal, Monkey Temple situated on hill overlooking Stupa which is surrounded by monkeys and Pashupatinath Temple to Lord Shiva in form of Animals where you can see monkey, sadhus, cremation and Meditation caves. In the evening enjoy leisure walk at Garden of Dreams where you can stay in peace in lap of nature. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.

Day 5: Kathmandu – Varanasi (by air)
After breakfast the tour will head towards ancient holy city- Varanasi.  On arrival, check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Stay overnight.

Day 6: Varanasi
Start your day with refreshing breakfast and the visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple one of the 12 sacred jyotirlinga and is located near bank of River Ganga. Next visit Sarnath the place where Buddha enlightened by the lesson of Dharma, Tulsi Ghat , Ramnagar Fort lying opposite to River Ganga and comprises a museum. Later on visit ghats around the River Ganga and enjoy boat ride at Ganga with mesmerizing views of sunset. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.   

Day 7: Varanasi – Khajuraho (overnight train via Jhansi)
After breakfast the tour will head towards ancient holy city- Varanasi.  On arrival, check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Stay overnight.

Day 8: Khajuraho
Post refreshing breakfast visit Khajuraho Group of Temples declared as world heritage site by UNESCO and was made by Chandela Dynasty. Next spot will be Kandariya Mahadev Temple dedicated to Hindu Lord Shiva where the amazing murals, sculpted ceiling reflect past of Khajuraho, Lakshmana Temple which is one of the largest shrine in group of temple with stunning architecture and Ajaigarh Fort situated on hilltop bordered by Vindhya hills and offers spectacular view of Ken River. In the evening visit Raneh Falls where you will be tranquilized by the stillness and can enjoy water related sports like swimming, boating and many other. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.  

Day 9: Khajuraho – Orchha (172 km)
After breakfast the tour will head towards Orchha.  On reaching there, check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Stay overnight.

Day 10: Orchha
Post breakfast visit Orchha Fort situated on Island on Betwa River and comprises other Palaces such as Raj Mahal, Jahangir Mahal and Rai Praveen Mahal made for Rai Praveen by King Indramani who was poetess and dancer. Next visit Chaturbhuj Temple with exquisite architecture which offers you spectacular views from the top, Jhansi Fort situated on hill and where the sculpture inside the fort gives glimpse of history of Bundelkhand, Chattris which reflect the history and grandeur of Past and Laxminarayan Temple blend of temple and fort and the wall paintings are exquisite. Later on enjoy wildlife safari at Orchha wildlife Sanctuary which houses wide variety of flora and fauna. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.    

Day 11: Orchha – Agra (254 km)
Post breakfast you will be transferred to city of symbol of Love - Agra.  On arrival, check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Stay overnight.

Day 12: Agra
Start your magical day with breakfast and visit symbol of epitome love-Tajmahal. It looks beyond imagination beautiful when sunrays fall on it. It was made by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife. Next halt at Agra Fort lying parallel to River Yamuna, built using red sand stones and within the premises there are many Palaces with stunning architecture. Next halt will be Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah surrounded by lush green meadow also known as Baby Taj and Draft of Jewel, Akbar’s Tomb the burial point of Emperor Akbar. In the evening enjoy the mesmerizing views of Tajmahal during sunset from Mehtab Bagh. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner. 

Note: Tajmahal remains closed on Fridays

         Red Fort, Akshardham & Lotus Temple remains closed on Mondays   

Day 13: Agra – Jaipur (242 km)
Post breakfast you will be transferred to pink city-Jaipur.  En-route Fatehpur Sikri, city founded by Mughal Emperor Akbar. On reaching there visit Buland Darwaza one of the largest gateways of India and was made to celebrate victory of Akbar over Gujarat. Next visit Jodha Bai Palace reflecting Rajput-Mughal architectural style and was harem for Queen’s of Akbar with all safety measures, Panch Mahal, Diwan-I-Khas, Diwan-I-Aam which were audience halls of Akbar and Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti, a pilgrimage site covered with intricate carved marble sheets. Continue your tour towards Jaipur. Night stay will be in Jaipur.

Day 14: Jaipur
Start your day with refreshing breakfast and after that visit Amer Fort and enjoy Elephant ride. It is situated on hilltop and overlooks Maota Lake where the reflection of the fort is breathtaking. Next visit Nahargarh Fort which offers spectacular views of the city, Hawa Mahal built in shape of crown of Hindu Lord Krishna also known as Palace of Winds due to many Jharokhas/windows. After that next halt at City Palace which offers stunning views of the surrounding and comprises City Palace museum where you will witness variety of historical stuff related to former Kings like costumes, weapons and many more.  Later on visit Jantar Mantar Observatory which is a great place for astronomy lovers and Birla Mandir devoted to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.

Day 15: Jaipur – Delhi (268 km)
Post breakfast you will be transferred to Delhi airport where our representative will guide you for your further journey.
